The Castagra Roofing Scholarship Program is now open for applications! This program was developed to support individuals pursuing a career in roofing (or a similar field), who are passionate about innovation and/or sustainability.
Castagra Products, Inc. employees and their family members are ineligible
Passionate about innovation and/or sustainability
An American or Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Pursuing a post-secondary education in college or vocational programs** in roofing or a similar field. Similar field must be applicable to the building industry (construction, waterproofing, etc.)
** Not attending school? We understand that college is not for everyone. We will consider applicants that are not planning to attend school, if they fit the other guidelines and can prove that they are dedicated and passionate about entering the industry. Your application essay must include what the scholarship funds will be used for, if selected.
The selected recipient will receive a $1000 USD award. Awards are not renewable, but applicants may reapply to the program each year that they meet eligibility requirements.
All applicants will be evaluated by our team. The winner of the Castagra Roofing Scholarship will be notified via email on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Awards are granted without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applications must include the applicant’s name, address, phone number, and email address
Your application must include a 500-1000 word essay detailing your educational and career goals objectives, and how you will contribute to the roofing industry. Special consideration will be given to those who are passionate about sustainability and/or innovation.

Sarah Dalby2021 Winner
The winner of the 2021 Castagra Roofing Scholarship Program is Sarah Dalby, an Architectural Engineering student at the University of Texas! She’s passionate about the building industry and is pursuing her degree to learn about structural methods and materials in order to design a sustainable solution to help the homeless. She’s been researching 3D-printing technology and how it can be expanded in order to 3D-print houses with organic materials.
