Phoenix, AZ. – Peter Roosen, CEO of Castagra Products, Inc. says multiple market research reports are pointing to a very solid 5% plus compounded annual growth rate for the next five years for the green coatings market.

“By any measure that’s very healthy indeed. All signs point to a robust period of growth for green coatings to 2022 with it, I believe, accelerating even faster as the mainstream public demands the complete absence of Volatile Organic Compounds and other nasty chemicals that are still emitted by some coatings and membranes that are still in widespread use.

The paints and coatings market is projected to reach US $209.36 Billion by 2022, at a CAGR 5.45% from 2017 to 2022, according to RnRMarketResearch.com.

The industrial segment is projected to grow at the highest CAGR during the forecast period. Increasing demand for paints and coatings from automotive, marine, aerospace, coil coating, transportation, rail coating, and packaging industries is projected to drive the global paints and coating market during the forecast period.

The Green coating market is expected to grow at CAGR of 5% by 2022 reports Market Research Future. The ‘Global Forecast to 2022’, published by MarketsandMarkets™, states that the Polymer Dispersions Market is projected to grow from an estimated US $6.99 Billion in 2017 to USD 10.27 Billion by 2022, at a CAGR of 8.0%.

The market is driven by the growing demand for polymer dispersions in various decorative and protective coating applications, especially in the green coating applications.

“Cheapness of conventional products has always been a dominant factor slowing the progress of greener products, which, initially were more expensive and did not perform as well. Well, those days are diminishing. The green coatings market as a whole has embraced the public’s desire for safer products, costs are comparable and so is performance.

“In our case, our Ecodur is not only cheaper, but it faster and better. The performance far exceeds conventional epoxy coatings for instance and with its indefinite lifespan for being repairable ot itself, it also brings down long term maintenance costs too,” stated Roosen.

Ecodur, which is made from vegetable oil and naturally occurring soft rock, gypsum, is VOC-free, BPA-free, solvent-free, non-toxic and certified for contact with drinking water.

“Frankly, it is the ultimate green coating product. There is nothing else like it out there. The castor oil has a unique chemistry and composition of fatty acids that, when combined with gypsum, creates an incredibly versatile coating. In a sense, it’s nature’s natural industrial coating. As corny as that sounds, it’s true,” concluded Roosen.

Castagra Products Inc., has its registered office in Reno, Nevada, USA, and headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. It has its main toll production facility in Houston in Texas. The company is focussed on providing ultra-protective VOC-free, BPA-free, non-toxic coatings for flooring, roofing, water and waste water industries and oil, gas, frac production water storage tanks and pipes.
